Hey all!! A few quick updates about what i have been up to...
First 3 weeks of August was working for monash school of medicine as an
temp IT admin staff and the last week of August just chillin' and
planning parties..lol
that aside, On Tues 30th August 2006, I had lunch with my mum at
pyramid at Manhattan Fish market! Yummy! They had this Power Lunch
Manhattan style.. Any dish in the set includes free refills of ice
lemon tea and take-as-much-as-you-want french bread with Manhattan's
special lime-cream sauce. Here's a pic i took with my phone to
illustrate my point lol

Quite well worth it for rm17.90 i would say! Its valid between
12-2 if i remember correctly, or was it 12-3..hmmm lol! Anyone up
for lunch at Manhattan's? keke
It was also at Manhattan that i bump
into Jessica and Jacinda. Jessica as many of you know is my former
'boss' at MonGa magazine last year..lol and Jacinda was Head of
Activities for MUSA last year..Was great to just catch up a lil... ^^
As for Independence day, spent it with Hui Chuan, his sis and his sis's
hsemate cooking Spaghetti with tomato and cream sauce (all
manually made keke) and also ABC soup. It took us quite sometime to
finalize what we wanted to cook for tis lunch meal and took us a
further 1 hr shopping in Carrefour to get what we needed. had a tricky
time deciding on the cream needed to make the sauce...Whip cream and
cream seemed to be the same thing..lol Didn't take pics of the
process..lol too engrossed with the cooking ...It was not too bad..tho'
i wished we bought more ham and possibly minced meat..that would have
been perfect..keke we accidentally bought angel hair spaghetti and not
the usual type, so to quote hui chuan's sis's hsemate, it looked like
mee swa..loL! in the end it was all for d fun of it - to cook together
and have an enjoyable meal there after.. keke ^^
Nothing much planned between today (1st Sept) and convocation day (6th
Sept)...perhaps more baking and cooking the works? Will fill up my next
entry with hopefully exciting future endavours lol
